Today, we find ourselves reflecting on the dedication, service, and countless contributions made by several beloved members of The Ōtaki Women’s Community Club who are now stepping down after many years of service.
Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when we are bidding farewell to people who have been the heart and soul of our club, but it’s also a moment to celebrate all they have done for the Ōtaki community.
These wonderful women have given so much of their time, energy, and passion to our community, often working behind the scenes to ensure that the club’s initiatives ran smoothly and that the people of Ōtaki were supported in every way possible. Whether it was organizing community events, fundraising for local causes, running the Otaki Market, their contributions have left an indelible mark on us all.
For decades, they have been the quiet force driving the success of the Ōtaki Market, the seasonal events, and the many charitable efforts that have uplifted our town. Their leadership, guidance, and care have not only helped strengthen the club, but also created a lasting impact that will continue to benefit Ōtaki for years to come.
While it’s difficult to see them go, we know that their influence will remain a strong foundation for the future of the Ōtaki Women’s Community Club. They’ve helped shape the values that we continue to uphold, and they’ve shown us all what it means to truly give back to the community.
You will always be a part of this community, and the doors of the club will forever be open to you.
